  • At Making Waves East End, our roots run deep. Growing up on the East End, the ocean was more than just our playground — it was our teacher. From sun-drenched summer days to stormy afternoons, we learned firsthand the importance of water safety, respect for the sea, and the joy that comes with swimming confidently and freely. Now, it's our turn to give back. Our mission is to share that same love and understanding of the water with the next generation. We’ve built a program that blends patience, encouragement, and proven teaching techniques — creating a space where children feel supported, inspired, and safe to move at their own pace. Whether they’re dipping their toes in for the first time or fine-tuning their strokes, we’re here to guide them every splash of the way.
